Freshmedx Venture to Bring Life Saving Technology to Millions at risk of Lung Cancer in Japan
June 10, 2011— Freshmedx today announced a joint venture that will bring life saving technology to over 62 million people in Japan who are at high risk of developing lung cancer. The Salt Lake City, Utah based medical device company has entered into an agreement with a prominent Japanese partnership to co-develop, market, distribute and sell its proprietary Computerized Bioconductance Test (CB Test) in Japan. In the clinic, the CB Test has demonstrated the ability to provide information that helps physicians accelerate life saving diagnosis and therapy or downgrade risk eliminating anxiety and uncertainty. Despite the recent tsunami tragedy, the Company’s Japanese partners are anxious to move forward bringing the life saving technology to the resilient Japanese market.

Freshmedx Lung Cancer Diagnostic Successfully Evaluates Indeterminate Lung Masses
March 22, 2011 - Freshmedx today announced the completion of a clinical trial at a major medical center in Baltimore. Freshmedx's proprietary Computerized Bioconductance Test (CB Test) showed favorable results in distinguishing between benign and malignant indeterminate masses by chest CT in undiagnosed individuals with lung cancer symptoms. In this trial, the CB Test demonstrated 90% sensitivity and 92% specificity in distinguishing between benign and malignant masses confirmed by biopsy or stable disease.<<To read a PDF of the full press release, click here. >>

In the "Year of the Lung," Utah Company Freshmedx Announces Breakthrough Lung Cancer Diagnostic
February 18, 2010 - In celebration of World Cancer Day and the Year of the Lung, Freshmedx today announced that it has entered into multiple discussions for the international license of its Bioconductance Scanning Platform (BSP). The BSP is a medical device that can dramatically improve the accuracy of pre-surgical lung cancer diagnosis in a simple and painless 12-minute scan. April 1, 2009 - The 9th Annual Utah Innovation Awards recognized Freshmedx's CB Scan as the 2nd place medical device in the Utah. May 20, 2009 - Freshmedx won second place at the 2009 Concept to Company medical device and technology competition. The contest was open to top life science technologies across the state. Freshmedx presents at the conference for the American Thoracic Society in San Diego, California
May 16, 2009 - Freshmedx, in conjunction with DOCTORS, presented two theses at the American Thoracic Society poster sessions. The theses presented included, "Clinical Evaluation of Transthoracic Bioconductance Scan (TBS) as a Non-invasive Adjunct to CT Scan Diagnosis of Lung Cancer," and, "Technique of Transthoracic Bioconductance Scan (TBS) Technology in the Non-invasive Characterization of Thoracic Malignancies." The American Thoracic Society is a non-profit, international, professional and scientific society for respiratory, critical care and sleep medicine.
